Magazine Collections

My Favourite Magazines

An important literary addition to ones dpl can always be a good thing. Something to cancel out the total lack of importance that most of the other products probably have. Let's be serious, most products that we want more than need don't have much of a purpose.

Monocle is my favourite magazine. It touches all (my) interests, provides innovative and intelligent articles with a sophisticated yet juvenile approach to media and up-to-date information about world issues and foreign affairs. With a hint of architecture, travel and culture - it's right up my alley.

It's a magazine that one can live their life by, it's my bible, my news channel choice and my insight onto the rest of the world.

Magazine collections are just as much a desirable product than any gadget/clothing/bum cream on the market. I myself collect two magazines, Wallpaper* and the one displayed above (Monocle). It gives me pleasure to gaze at the overly-full shelf above my desk and to admire the accomplishment and patience it's taken to collect those issues every month.

A tip when starting a magazine collection is to (obviously) choose a magazine that interests you. This may sound as if I'm talking to a bunch of four year-olds but honestly, you might buy a magazine and then never read it. Therefore, buy one that you know you'll read. When the new month approaches, your legs should automatically guide you to a newsstand, with your heart racing of excitement that you will once again be reunited with your bible, your insight to the rest of the world.

Some magazines I recommend:

I highly encourage anyone to start a collection. Today.
