CURRENT APP OBSESSIONS
Before the occasional ipad app spring clean, here are a few of my favourites, which will most likely be staying.
Addictive apps are always the best ones. We hate admitting it. But they are actually a great thing. Well that's what I think. My homework and mother beg to differ. I will now proceed to tell you why they are great. Here goes Nathan justifying why he should rather play on his ipad than revise for exams...
Addictive apps always provide one with entertainment. Never will you utter the world 'bored' as they are an immediate treatment for the syndrome. With a world of strategic, continuous and pointless stroylines, one may feel like they're wasting their time but continue with the game anyway.
So that's my theory. Your lemons for that lemonade.
Without further or do, here are my current favourites and possible remainers on the tablet post the spring clean (it's memory has exceeded, oops).
1. TEMPLE RUN OZ
(Not free, sorry)Thee best Temple Run out there. No words can describe the enjoyment and satisfaction one receives when participating in this version of Temple Run. With various scenes, it is the most spontaneous and exciting Temple Run out there. Give your tablet it's very own dpl and put this at the top of your list. Bordom is never even seen on the horizon as this game will never tire.
2. CANDY CRUSH
(Free)
I am afraid to mention that I've hopped on the band-waggon with Candy Crush. I willingly enjoy it despite forceful downloading of the app. It's not even fun. That's not why I play it. I'm assuming that people play it purely because of it's addiction rays that it ejects out into our brains. Ones anger and frustration of losing a level only makes you want to play it more. If only advertisements worked as well as this. Wow I'd be broke then.3. PLAGUE INC.
(Free)
With its cruel and amoral storyline, this game is fantastic. Is it wrong to create a deadly disease and try and kill every human on earth, and enjoy it? Eh, quite frankly I enjoy it. Addictive and fun. It combines some of my favourite things; world affairs, geography and science. With a range of symptoms and transmission methods, your unique disease is bound to contain a lethality to wipe out a fictional world.4. PHYZIOS
(Free)5. SPORCLE
(Free)
How about some trivia? What about an app for it? Name the subject, Sporcle has a quiz related to it. I personally enjoy doing the geography quizzes. I must say that my US States knowledge has greatly increased thanks to this handy fellow. Impress friends with your new-found knowledge and test the knowledge which you already have. Embracing knowledge is always a good thing.
So there you have it; some of my bordom cures and additional dpl app add-ons.
Have a ball, and trust me, you will.
Cheerio Bumbleheads
